26-07-2019 The last working day before the summer vacation.

Before everyone from Lentink goes on holiday, the last working day tradition is faithfully concluded with the holiday drink.

It is greatly appreciated by our people every year that after the great effort of the past months, while enjoying a snack, drink and music, an active period can be concluded that afternoon, before we all of the can enjoy a vacation. This year, too, there was a large turnout of participants.

The nice weather and the nicely decorated setting already provided a great start to the upcoming summer vacation. Most colleagues were well prepared for the tropical temperatures, given the many short shirts and trousers and the matching sunglasses. After a short speech from Daniël the barbecues were fired up and everyone could enjoy the many delicacies, provided by restaurant catering the Radstake from the Heelweg.

As mentioned earlier on the news page of this website, a large group of colleagues attended Formula 1 in Austria at the end of June. This journey was made possible by the management of Lentink. The entire group was supervised by some colleagues during that weekend. During the summer barbecue this great Max Verstappen racing experience was a topic of conversation for many.

The colleagues who have experienced this trip have returned so enthusiastically that they have decided, as thanks to those who have realized all this, to hand over a personal present. As expected, the group then indicated whether there was a possibility of having this happen again, as they were already looking forward to a possible next Formula 1 visit. Daniël had already heard a few things from the corridors, and was already assuming that with a possible second time, the group would become even larger in view of the great enthusiasm of the participants. He will assess together with Ron what is possible and how we can achieve this again. Daniel will return to this.

The combination of the good weather and the cozy atmosphere turned out to work well for everyone, because many remained present on Lentink square for a long time after the official closing.

At the time of this writing, everyone has been working at Lentink for a week and we have all been able to enjoy a great summer vacation. We are in full swing again for the sprint to the end of this year. And even then the commitment shown will be rewarded, among other things with our joint and traditional Christmas drink.
