christmas and new year message 2023

Dear valued colleagues,

2023 is just around the corner to displace 2022 and that is why we briefly reflect on this year by means of a short summary of a few topics. What have we been busy with this year besides supplying our customers and what are the challenges for the coming year at Lentink?

At the beginning of this year, we started a number of projects that our major customers have again awarded to us. In addition to ongoing production, we have also been very busy with our tool makers. We are currently fine-tuning the last tools of all project assignments, after which production can start in February. In the meantime, several new projects have already been released in the last two months that should be operational after the summer and or at the end of 2023. We have been pleased to note that our customers from the heating industry have once again chosen Lentink to produce various larger panels (1800 x 1000 mm) that are used for heat pump systems, among other things. Here too, Lentink has once again been able to prove to its customers that it is a serious supplier, who can supply high-quality, beautiful large products in large numbers on a daily basis. From product realization up to and including the packaging are realized by Lentink in its entirety.

Around the summer period it seemed that we would gradually enter the Covid era again, but fortunately that turned out to be a false alarm. The same goes for the beginning of the following autumn period. Last year was another good year for Lentink, despite that, it was a year of running and standing still, an even more hectic and chaotic year than the chaotic year before. This was partly caused by our customers' continued difficulty in obtaining parts, the war in Ukraine and an unclear, stagnant government policy. Partly because of this, the erratic purchase pattern of most of our customers arose. It is important in all of this that Lentink, partly due to the efforts of its employees and the trust of its customers, has managed to hold its own again this year in these still challenging times that will continue well into the new year! This would not have been possible without the commitment and dedication of you as colleagues.

After Lentink managed to achieve the CSR status of platinum last year, Lentink has achieved gold as a status, partly due to the increased criteria this year. We managed to maintain the upward trend, which is also what we have in mind for the coming year. Our goal to be part of the overall "energy transition" is steadily taking shape, as a result of which Lentink, as one of the largest suppliers of sheet metal for the central heating industry, will also be a major player for alternative systems such as Hydride and heat pumps. .

In the coming year we will further expand Lentink by realizing a new industrial hall at the rear. The parking spaces will be rearranged before construction.

The approximately 4000 solar panels have now all been installed on our roof and will be taken into use in January 2023.

We are also going to Formula 1 in Austria again in 2023, many participants are already looking forward to it. Together we will make it a big party again. Max will take care of the spectacle on the track with the other drivers.

Together with all of you as a team, I will certainly look forward to 2023 in a positive way to further develop Lentink.
