It is almost time again before the first race in Formula 1 of this year will be held.
The Formula 1 season will start in Bahrain and end in Abu Dhabi, just like other years. The Formula 1 calendar for 2023 has been finally presented. With 23 Grands Prix, the calendar has a large number of races, including a brand new race in Las Vegas.
This week before the season starts, test days will take place in Bahrain from February 23 to 25. Today three teams have already started driving the first laps in their new F1 cars.
Also this year Lentink will be going to the F1 in Austria with a large number of colleagues. Colleagues who come along sometimes get the question. What does a weekend like this look like? We would like to give you an insight into the program of this beautiful company outing.

start again. The program looks like this:
Friday, June 30, 2023
Friday morning we will leave at six o'clock in the morning from our parking lot at the front of our Lentink building. Any cars and bicycles can be parked at the rear in the usual way. We will be transported by a luxury coach. You will receive a lunch in the bus and the bus is equipped with coffee & soft drinks and a toilet.
Friday will be largely spent on the outward journey. Through various stops we will reach the hotel in Fladnitz around 7:00 PM. The 4-star Vital Hotel Styria is located in the beautiful Almenland Nature Park. After a short break, which can be used to check in, freshen up and unpack your suitcase / bag, we will have dinner at the hotel around 8:30 PM. Everyone has their own room in the hotel, unless you go in pairs.
Saturday July 1
On Saturday we will leave for the race track after breakfast at 9:00 am. This is an hour's drive through the Austrian mountain landscape. We will spend the day at the track. Fortunately, winog managed to seize tickets for the T3 grandstand just in time. Here you can enjoy the various qualifications and training that take place today! The highlight of Saturday, the Formula 1 sprint race, will start at 2 p.m. You can get drinks and lunch yourself during the day. You will receive a payment card from Lentink with which you can pay at the circuit itself on Saturday and Sunday. The bus will leave for the hotel around 5:00 PM. Dinner will again take place at the hotel, around 7:00 PM.
Sunday July 2
On Sunday, again after breakfast, we will leave for the race track at 9:00 am. Make sure your bag / suitcase is packed. We will not return to the hotel after our departure!
Once you have arrived at the circuit, you can first enjoy the support races from the T3 grandstand. Then, of course, the main program starts at 2 p.m.: the Austrian Grand Prix!
Of course we all hope that Max takes the final victory again. There are plenty of options for eating and drinking on the circuit. For this you can (again) use the payment card that you received from Lentink.
The bus will return home to the Netherlands around 7:30 PM.
During the return journey there will be a number of breaks again.
We are expected to return to Varsseveld on Monday morning around 8:00/9:00 am.
