Lentink on the way to CO2 and energy neutral.

Lentink has had extra power cables installed for the new hybrid powder coat paint shop.

Lentink's completely new hybrid powder coat paint shop will be fully operational from summer 2023.

For Lentink, this is another step towards reducing CO2 and producing energy neutrally.

At the time of publication, Lentink scores 64% energy neutral, which is partly achieved by the solar panels and investments in new machines that work on low energy. Lentink is therefore well on its way to green production.

Cables as thick as your thigh.

New cables laid underground within 8 hours.

A short preparation time obviously preceded the actual assignment, but once the job has started, the cable pipes will be 7 meters deep underground over a distance of almost 100 meters within a day. Only the paving had to be broken up at the beginning and end of the cable pipes to be shot underground, through which the power cables would run. The new hybrid paint shop is connected to Lentink's solar panel power network.
