Who are you?
My name is Liibaan and I am 31 years old. I come from Somali where I fled from the war.
How did you end up at Lentink? Was technology already advertised then? From school or else?
Via the Anton Tijdinkschool, Riometaal where I did an internship I was subsequently placed at the Lentink employment agency. Through Malte (head of department press) I have learned a lot and I am still learning in different departments.

How long have you been working at Lentink now?
I have been working here for 1.5 years with great pleasure.
Why did you choose Lentink?
Lentink is a good company where everyone treats each other with respect. I am not used to treating each other with respect. They are always friendly to me, all of them.

What activities are you currently practicing at Lentink ?
Spot welding, bending machine operation, welding work, press work, drilling, tapping and cutting and chamfering.
How do you like your work? Do you like the technique?
Really beautiful!
What do you think of your workplace?
I work in many different departments, but I prefer to work in the press department in the Malte department or in the welding department at Jarno.
How is collegiality among each other? The atmosphere?
Good and correct.
What are your personal interests and hobbies outside of work?
Running, watching sports with other Somalirs and Formula 1 together. That's really nice with Max Verstappen. What can he do well if we look at each other when we watch Formula 1.
Another anecdote or nice experience within Lentink that you would like to share with us?
I don't have one, but what I want to say is that I came here with 20% knowledge and have already learned 90% knowledge. At Lentink you can learn a lot from each other. My Somali friends are a bit jealous of what Lentink does for his employees and for me.
Do you see the company improve and grow?
Very positive, the last Christmas gift was regarded by everyone as really crazy and also the summer drink and Christmas dinner were received very positively. I was really happy with that. My Somali friends are jealous of me and also want to work at Lentink. It is an advertisement for Lentink to anyone who wants to work.
Do you have a personal wish regarding the company?
Staying a healthy business and become even larger
How would you recommend people outside of Lentink to opt for technology?
Lentink is beautiful and versatile. At Lentink you get all the time, help and information to learn and you also learn a lot !
